Charity

Santas from our association have a strong will to take part and contribute in charity projects every year. Santas donate parts from their fee to charity and also encourage other good people to help those in need. Every autumn we go through received applications, suggestions and donations and arrange a new campaign.
Santas wish to help children who are diagnosed with a severe or rare disease and whose cure unfortunately isn’t covered by the Health Insurance Fund resulting parents having to pay for the whole treatment. Donated money isn’t transferred to parents’ account, it is used to pay for medical bills. At the end of the campaign one of our Santas personally hands over the cheque to the parents. The moment is shared with everybody via photos and video. The money itself is transferred to the fund that arranges the child’s treatment. Donating through us you can be sure that the money reaches to the one in need. For donations we have created a special-purpose account.

Kaspar is a 2-year-old boy who is diagnosed with an expressive speech disorder – it’s hard for him to communicate because he can’t speak and since he can’t express his wishes he often loses his temper. Problems with communicating make finding contact  and playing with peers more difficult. Kaspar needs help with eating, getting dressed and going to the toilet. Since he can’t chew the food selection is also limited.

Kaspar needs regular speech therapy to develop communication skills and prevent more serious behavior problems.

Supporting Kaspar is a challenge to his family, both financially and skills-wise and therefore Santas decided to have a campaign to help cover the costs of occupational and speech therapy.

We are thankful for your donation!

(In 2019 we helped little Elizabeth. During the campaign (20.12.2019 – 10.01.2020) with the help of good people we managed to collect 830 euros. Greatest thanks to all those who donated!

Elizabeth (born in 2017) is diagnosed with a rare Joubert syndrome. Due to the illness she needs daily extra support, care and monitoring. Elizabeth also needed therapy as quickly as possible to achieve independence in daily procedures.)
